Sauna lights designed for extreme sauna conditions
At first glance, sauna lights seem like a basic interior detail designed to ensure proper lighting in the room. However, upon closer inspection, we realize that their function is not only to illuminate, but also to withstand extremely high temperatures and ensure the safety and relaxation of sauna users.
The lights in this category are characterized by durable construction, increased protection against moisture and steam, and reduced risk of electric shock, so unlike ordinary indoor lights, sauna lighting must meet strict safety and durability requirements.
Sauna lights – from cozy and romantic to beneficial to your health
In dry Finnish saunas, where temperatures can reach up to 100°C, models that can withstand high temperatures are used. They can even be installed close to the ceiling or above the stove, where the heat reaches its peak. Safety is particularly important in such saunas, so even with intensive use, the lighting will serve you for many years.
For less hot saunas, where the temperature reaches 70-80°C, Himalayan salt lamps are particularly popular, such as the Himalayan salt lamp with LED colored lighting (product code: PA123), black alder wood or Himalayan salt lamp without lighting, abachi wood (product code: PA087). Such lighting provides a triple benefit for sauna lovers: it creates a cozy atmosphere during safety procedures and, thanks to the positive properties of Himalayan salt, it is beneficial to health.
Sauna lamps – installation location and purpose
The variety of sauna lights can be overwhelming, but the most popular are wall lights (mounted behind the back or under the benches), corner lights, lights with protective wooden or other material covers, and lighting under the benches for a cosier atmosphere and safety. So, when choosing the most suitable ones, first assess your needs and what you expect from the future lighting.
A variety of sauna lights – a way to create an atmosphere that suits you
Properly selected lighting allows you to create an environment that allows you to completely relax and enjoy the rest provided by the sauna. Soft, subdued, or brighter functional lighting helps to reduce tension, enhance the relaxing effect of the sauna, or, conversely, provide energy. It is worth knowing that warm light has a calming effect on the nervous system, colored LED lighting helps to create a different mood each time, and subdued lighting will make your sauna a cozier and more private space.
