GEFEST - powerful wood-burning cast iron stoves.
Initially, the manufacturer of these stoves started making sauna stoves from ordinary gray cast iron and very quickly realized that this was not the right alloy to make strong and durable stoves. Therefore, it was necessary to perform many tests and experiments until it was possible to create the necessary alloys. Up to four different cast iron alloys are currently used in the final product. Tests have shown that different structural parts of the sauna stove require different technical characteristics. Thus, the creation of the sauna stove, trials, many mistakes and their solutions allowed to create a great stove over 10 years.
What makes these stoves special? The stove stone case offered by Gefest is powerful, heavy, durable, heats up to 600 degrees and currently has no analogues. The teeth on the bottom of the stove increase the contact area of the fire and thus improve the efficiency of heat transfer, which allows you to use less firewood. The fire barrier panel with additional oxygen supply to the chamber reduces CO emissions and additionally heats the stone chamber, making it a very efficient wood burning stove that is environmentally friendly at the same time. Reinforced edges of the stove walls extend the service life of the stove and strengthen the structure. Due to the weight and stone finish, the heat stays for a very long time - this is useful not only during the sauna, but also for long-term operation - drying, room heating and the like.
The stone finish helps solve convection and infrared radiation issues that conventional sauna stoves do not. Gefest has different types of soapstone for heater decoration. These are natural soapstone (talcomagnesite), talcochlorite, serpentine and zmeyevik stone. Of course, you can choose a Gefest stove without a stone finish, but if you have chosen a finish, you can also purchase a matching fuel portal or a stone chimney finish.
