The Misa Laavu models are special in that they have a huge area covered with stone, they are perfectly able to distribute heat in the sauna, and it is convenient to pour water over the heater. This is not just a simple sauna stone surface, it is a soapstone, very well known not only among sauna lovers for its ability to perfectly accumulate (retain) heat within itself. Soapstone (talcochlorite) is the closest to jadeite in its emitting steam properties! These sauna heaters are also special in that they can be heated by both electricity and firewood.
Misa also offers smaller electric heaters suitable for private saunas, controlled both mechanically and with a control panel. These heaters can be placed on the floor or hung on the wall to save space in the sauna.
