Use of chemicals:

Pool filter:

We recommend cleaning at least once a week to remove dirt that has accumulated in the sand filter. Regular cleaning of the sand filter ensures that the pool water will be replaced with clean water. This simple step prevents the build-up of chloride and nitrate salts that result from chlorine in the water. Despite regular cleaning, calcium deposits can still build up in the filter, especially where there is hard water. In the worst case, the filter can become clogged and its efficiency will be significantly reduced. To avoid this, the filter should be decalcified 3 to 4 times a year with the "Decalcit Filter" product. Studies show that practically every second filter is dirty or contaminated. This causes a negative effect on water quality as the disinfectant clogs the filter and is therefore no longer effective in the pool. The result: cloudy or green water and generally poor water quality.

To avoid filter problems, you can use activated filter glass. It is an advanced filter material made from green recycled glass, designed specifically for sand filters. The glass grains are specially treated to ensure the filtration of even the smallest particles and organic debris. The smooth surface of the grain prevents bacteria from sticking to it, which greatly improves the cleaning process.

Limescale:

If the water in the pool has become cloudy and the walls are rough, calcium accumulates on the walls and in the water. If it is not possible to remove calcium mechanically, you can choose our quality anti-limescale products. Measures to stabilize water hardness stop the formation of calcium and rust in water. Using them can prevent water turbidity, limescale deposits in the pool and in the filtration system. Clean the pool with "Decalcit Super" after draining the pool water, and add "Calcinex" to the pool water to prevent limescale problems in the future.

Chemicals for winter:

Manufacturers of outdoor pools recommend leaving the pool filled with water during the winter. Advantages: the water in the basin neutralizes the pressure of the soil against the basin walls or prevents the basin from rising due to too high groundwater levels in the spring. In addition, an infilled pool is less affected by seasonal weather conditions and is less likely to be damaged by objects that fall into it.

Using winter products will make spring cleaning easier, as the products inhibit calcium deposits and prevent algae growth.
