Laavu models are special in that they have a huge area covered with stones, which perfectly distributes the heat in the sauna and is convenient to pour water over. This is not just any sauna stone surface, but soapstone, which is very well known not only among bathers because of its ability to perfectly accumulate (retain) heat within itself. Soapstone (talcochlorite) is the closest to jadeite in its emitting steam properties!
