BAYROL DPD No.1 Rapid Pooltester reagent tablets are designed for measuring the free chlorine concentration in swimming pool and spa water using manual colour comparator water testers (Pooltester). The tablets provide a quick and accurate measurement of free chlorine, helping you regularly monitor water quality and maintain effective pool water disinfection.

When to use?
- To measure the free chlorine concentration in swimming pool water.
- To measure the free chlorine concentration in spa and hot tub water.
- Before adjusting the disinfectant dosage.
- As part of regular water quality monitoring.
Instructions for use
- Remove the tester cap and rinse the tester with pool water.
- Fill the tester with water up to the marked line. Take the water sample approximately 0.5 m from the pool edge and 5–10 cm below the water surface.
- Place one Phenol Red Rapid tablet into the pH chamber and one DPD No.1 Rapid tablet into the chlorine chamber.
- Close the cap and gently shake the tester until the tablets have completely dissolved.
- Compare the water colour visually with the tester's colour scale to determine the free chlorine and pH values.

Recommendations
It is recommended to check the pool water pH and free chlorine concentration at least once a week.
- Maintain the recommended free chlorine concentration of 0.3–0.6 mg/L in pool water.
- If the free chlorine concentration is below 0.3 mg/L, add an appropriate chlorine disinfectant.
- If the pH is above 7.4, use pH-Minus.
- If the pH is below 7.0, use pH-Plus.

Storage
Store the tablets in the original manufacturer's packaging in a cool, dry place. Protect them from moisture, frost, excessive heat and direct sunlight. Do not store together with acids or alkalis.
Shelf life: 10 years from the date of manufacture.
