Harvia Infrabox Basic IRB-B is a compact digital control unit designed for controlling infrared radiators and infrared heating panels. The set consists of a separate control panel and power unit.
The control unit allows the infrared heating system to be switched on and off or the heating intensity to be adjusted in 5 levels. In switching mode, infrared heating equipment with a total output of up to 3.5 kW can be controlled. In dimming mode, the maximum load is 1.3 kW with half-wave control or 350 W with leading-edge phase control.
The unit features a timer and a remote start or enable input. The standard maximum operating time is 6 hours and can be configured during installation according to the intended application and manufacturer's requirements.
An optional seat sensor can be connected to activate infrared heating when a user is detected in the seating area. When infrared heating panels are used, a separate panel temperature sensor is required. If the connected infrared equipment does not have an integrated safety temperature limiter, an additional safety temperature limiter must be installed.
The control panel is installed on the outside wall of the cabin. The power unit can be installed on the cabin roof, wall or another suitable location in accordance with the manufacturer's installation requirements. Electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified professional.
The Infrabox Basic version does not include a lighting or fan control output.
