Tea tree essential oil, obtained by steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of the tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), has an intense, fresh and camphor-like aroma. It can be used to add fragrance to bath water, massage blends and the sauna environment.
Directions for use
- For scented baths: use 5–9 drops per 100 litres of water. As essential oil does not dissolve in water, mix it with a suitable essential-oil bath base or dispersing agent before adding it to the bath.
- For massage blends: add 1–2 drops of tea tree essential oil to 20 g of carrier oil and mix thoroughly. Apply to the skin only when properly diluted.
- For sauna use: add 15 drops to 10 litres of water and mix thoroughly. The fresh tea tree aroma adds a distinctive fragrant accent to the sauna environment.
Important: do not pour undiluted essential oil directly onto hot sauna stones or heating elements. Avoid contact of the undiluted product with the skin and eyes. Read the product label before use and follow the dosage and safety instructions provided.
The intense and fresh tea tree aroma adds a distinctive fragrance to bath, massage and sauna routines.
