Pool water pH regulation
Pool maintenance is required approximately once a week. It is very important - too high or too low pH, not measured in time, can cause skin diseases and acidification of water. Also, an incorrect pH level can cause long-term damage to the pool.
Too low pH means soft, acidic water that damages structures, metals and the surface of the pool. Of course, you won't notice the effects right away, but parts of the pool that are in constant contact with acidic water will eventually experience corrosion.
A pH that is too high means hard, alkaline water that creates unwanted calcium deposits that are difficult to remove from the surface of the pool filter.
Make sure the pH of the water is between 7.0 and 7.4 using water test strips. This is important for the high-quality performance of chemicals - at too low or too high pH, chemical reactions other than intended occur.
If the pH is not in the range of 7.0-7.4, our pH-plus and pH-minus chemicals will help you adjust the pH level. The pH-plus chemical increases the pH of the water, so it is suitable if it is lower than 7.0. The pH-minus chemical, on the contrary, lowers the pH of the water. It should be chosen if the pH exceeds the norm and reaches more than 7.4.
