BAYROL SpaTime Alca-Plus is a granular product designed to increase the total alkalinity (TA) of spa pool and hot tub water. Maintaining the correct total alkalinity helps stabilise the water pH, makes pH adjustment easier and supports balanced water chemistry. The product dissolves quickly and is easy to use as part of regular spa water maintenance.

When to use?
-
When the total alkalinity (TA) is below 80 mg/L.
-
After filling the spa with fresh water.
-
When the water pH becomes unstable or fluctuates frequently.

During regular water testing.
Dosage
Recommended dosage:
-
20 g per 1 m³ of water increases the total alkalinity (TA) by approximately 10 mg/L.
Recommended total alkalinity (TA) level:

80–120 mg/L
Instructions for use

Test the total alkalinity (TA) using a water testing kit.

If the TA is below 80 mg/L, calculate the required amount of product.

Switch on the circulation pump.
-
Add the required amount of granules directly into the spa water while the circulation system is running.

Leave the circulation pump running until the product has completely dissolved.

After approximately 30 minutes, test the TA again and adjust if necessary.

Once the total alkalinity has been adjusted, check the water pH and correct it if required.
