How to install a sauna?
In these times of technology, everything is modernizing, even the construction of saunas. Sauna heaters, insulation, lighting materials are becoming more modern and easier to install. For these reasons, the installation of a small sauna is, in some cases, possible even in two days!

So how to install a sauna?
BenchesIf you want to install two-storey benches, it is best that the upper bench is at least 70 cm wide, but for more comfort, the area of the bench should be about 80 - 100 cm. The lower bench should be narrower and can also be slid under for comfort when standing up. It is very important to note that the tops and supports of the benches cannot be painted or varnished, they should be lubricated with a special sauna oil. When applying for the first time, it is enough to apply one coat, after half a year it should be applied again. If you have cleaned the sauna with chemicals, apply a layer of oil again after all. We recommend that you buy wood for benches, ready-made sauna benches, benches and sauna wall cladding for saunas from specialized stores selling sauna products, you can find them here: sauna goods stores.
Doors
How to install a door in the sauna? Sauna doors can be wooden or glass. If you have chosen a glass door, it is important to know that it must be tempered glass. There should be a gap of at least 4 - 10 cm between the floor and the door, through which oxygen-saturated air could enter the sauna. The handle of the sauna door should be wooden, because the metal heats up, the door itself should be without any hooks or locks, because if the lock is broken, a person would not be able to leave the sauna. The door should also open outwards.
Windows
If you decide to install a window in the sauna room, it is necessary to install only a wooden window with tempered glass, because unlike plastic, when heated, it does not emit chemicals into the environment. Also, the plastic window will deform from the heat. Is a window necessary when installing a sauna? Whether it will be a window or not, it depends only on your wishes, if you think that it will be enough to replace the ventilation system, you are wrong, the window alone will not be enough for quality ventilation of the sauna.
How to install ventilation in the sauna and is ventilation a necessary attribute of the sauna?
The most commonly used scheme of sauna ventilation: air supply - a space under the door or a hole next to the heater to another room. This is the simplest type of natural ventilation. Recently, however, an improved type of natural ventilation has been used. When the air supply remains the same as described above - a crack under the door or an opening in the wall under the heater, and the air extraction is offered double - in the ceiling and under the benches.
If you do not have access to a lake, river or pond, you can build a cold water tub by the sauna, if you do not have such an option, it is a great way to use a shower bucket, which can be hung both outdoors and in the washroom.
Electrical installation in the sauna, how to install a safe sauna?
When choosing cables for the sauna, it is important that they are silicone, heat-resistant and covered with a protective, moisture-resistant cover. Heat resistance should be up to 180 degrees. All appliances should be grounded, and the sauna should have no switches or outlets. If it is not possible to move electrical appliances to another room, they should be placed in a special airtight box. Sauna lights should also be special for saunas: airtight, heat-resistant.UAB "Poilsio sprendimai" can ensure quality work.
