The WEDI flexible building board is designed for creating curved interior structures. The board bends lengthwise and can be used to form rounded walls, niches, benches, partitions and other curved construction elements.
The surface is coated with a cementitious polymer layer and reinforced with glass fibre. The prepared surface can be used as a substrate for tiles, mosaics or another finish compatible with the selected installation system.
The board can be used in bathroom, shower, steam room and other wet interior constructions when the complete installation complies with the sealing and installation requirements applicable to the specific area. Board joints, corners, fixing points and other connections must be properly sealed.
The product page specifies WEDI 360 adhesive and fixing washers for installation and WEDI 610 elastic sealant for the joints. The specific fixing and sealing materials must be selected according to the substrate, final finish and the installation instructions applicable to the board.
