Supi Saunavaha wax is suitable for use on sauna benches, door and window frames.

Protection for wooden interior surfaces of saunas, which contains natural wax. Supi Saunavaha sauna wax is absorbed into the wood and forms a moisture and dirt resistant surface. Supi Saunavaha is an aqueous, natural wax preservative. Absorbs into wood, gives a smooth, silky surface. Ready colors: black, white and gray. The product is colored according to the Tikkurila stain and varnish color catalog. The tool can also be used in black and white. Colorless wax preserves the natural color of the wood. The product is assigned emission class M1. Building materials and interior fittings emit a variety of chemicals into the indoor air, and class M1 is a low-emission material.

Staining method. Foam roller, sponge or brush with artificial bristles.

Maturation. No dust after 30 minutes. After 24 hours. can be used.

Yield 10-13 m2 / l.

Painting conditions. The surface to be painted must be clean and dry, with an air temperature higher than + 5ºC and a relative humidity below 80%.

Surface preparation. New clean wooden surfaces: wipe off dirt and dust. Slightly dampen the surface with a water jet, allow to dry and sand the wood chips. Remove dust from sanding.

Old, dirty or wooden surfaces covered with Supi Saunasoja: wash the surfaces with Supi Saunapesu according to the instructions, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Sand and wipe off any dust that may have formed. If you apply the wax on the remnants of any old product, the surface will be much shinier than when applying untreated wood.

It is not recommended to cover surfaces impregnated with oil (eg Supi Laudesuoja) with Supi Saunavaha sauna wax if that layer has not been removed.
Protect the floor well before applying Supi Saunavaha wax, as this product is easily absorbed into the gaps between the ceramic tiles.
Coating. At first, gently stir in the Supi Saunavaha wax, stirring occasionally while using. Apply a small layer in the direction of the wood fiber so that the product is evenly absorbed. Since the wax is very liquid, the easiest way to apply a suitable layer is to use a foam roller or sponge. If you apply too much wax, the surface will be slippery. Test the tinted Supi Saunavaha wax in a low visibility area to make sure the color is right. The final shade depends on the properties of the wood.

Cover small boards all at once to prevent overlapping, and when applying large boards, cover 1 or 2 boards to obtain an even shade. Before using the sauna, heat and well ventilate the steam room.
Surface care. If necessary, clean no earlier than 1 month after painting. Clean the surface with Supi Saunapesu (ratio: 1-2 dl of cleaner with 5 liters of water).

Home delivery prices

The shipping cost throughout Europe is calculated according to the rates set by the courier service. 

Before delivering the goods, the courier will arrange an acceptable delivery time for you by phone (working days Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).

Delivery costs are not included in the price of the product specified in the online store.

The shipping cost will be added to the shopping cart value.

 

Collection of goods

When receiving the delivered goods, please, check the condition of the shipment (packaging), make sure that the packaging is not deformed or damaged. If you suspect that the package has been damaged or deformed, do not sign the package documents and return the package to the courier. If the package is in order, then sign the invoice (bill of lading) or other shipment transfer-acceptance document. The signed document is proof that the ordered goods were delivered to you.

When purchasing products longer than 2.4m, the customer may have to arrange for unloading.
 

Returning the goods

We are doing our best to pack goods purchased from us. Unfortunately, sometimes harm might be done during transportation. Even if you do not know if something is damaged or not, it is always good to take photos of arrived package on your smartphone, you will need those in case if any harm is done to the content.

If you can see signs of damaged packaging, please take following steps:

1. Take photos of package and make sure damage is visible.

2. Unpack your order and check if any products are harmed, take a photo of damaged item.

3. If there is a violation, please, inform us via email [email protected]

NB! For all claims of damaged or broken goods, you must make your claim within one (1) working day from the date of delivery. The Company must receive full details and description in written form with attached photos of the damaged goods.

When the buyer refuses to accept delivered goods that are not defective, he must pay the costs of returning the goods to us.
