The chimney cladding is a separate set of decorative panels for mounting on the stove cladding around the chimney. The finish closes the initial part of the chimney and the adapters for the transition to the pipe, not only stopping the infrared radiation from the heated chimney, but also complementing the look of the stove.
If a cast iron valve is included in the stove kit, a hole will be made in the pipe lining for the gate valve to travel.
