Steam Room with symmetrical Seating and Lounging Areas

A steam room installed in Darbėnai, designed to comfortably accommodate a larger group of users.

Steam rooms are gentle and well-tolerated, making them especially suitable for beginners. The typical operating temperature is around 45°C with 100% humidity.

This type of sauna offers various wellness benefits – the heat stimulates circulation, helps relax muscles and joints, supports detoxification, and has a positive effect on the skin.

Installation:

At the client’s request, the seating layout was designed in two formats – allowing users to enjoy the steam room both sitting and lying down. The benches, walls, and ceiling forms were custom-made from special extruded polystyrene. The right side features a reclining bench, while the left side is designed for seated use. The arched ceiling prevents condensation from dripping.

The entire interior, including the benches, is finished with mosaic tiles.

A fiber optic lighting system in the ceiling creates a starry sky effect, while additional lighting installed beneath the benches softly illuminates the floor.

The steam outlet is protected by a decorative stone feature made of gabbro diabase, ensuring safe steam distribution into the room.

The steam room is equipped with reliable Harvia equipment. The tempered glass door with a specially designed aluminum frame is intended for steam environments and is resistant to temperature fluctuations.
