Private infrared sauna and swimming pool project
This project represents a modern balance of comfort, technology, and sensory experience, where every detail is designed not only for function, but also to create atmosphere.
The infrared sauna with a steam function allows you to enjoy different sauna experiences within a single space – from gentle infrared warmth to rich, enveloping steam. The interior is defined by cedar detailing, bringing a sense of natural warmth and visual softness. The sauna itself stands out through its distinctive form and refined aesthetics – a curved glass façade adds lightness, visually expands the space, and allows you to enjoy the surroundings even from within. Soft lines, carefully selected materials, and subtle lighting create a harmonious, contemporary environment designed for slow, high-quality relaxation.
The highlight of this sauna is the illuminated benches with integrated Himalayan salt brick features. A warm amber glow radiates from within, creating a cozy, almost hypnotic atmosphere. This is not just a visual element – it is something you experience physically.
Technical solutions are subtly concealed: two EOS Invisio XL heaters are integrated to maintain a clean, minimal design, while a separate Harvia steam generator ensures a stable steam supply. Beneath the benches, the Saunum Basic system evenly distributes heat throughout the space. Control is seamless and intelligent – the Emotouch 3 panel connects three sauna systems into one, while KNX integration enables full control via a smart home system, making operation simple, intuitive, and accessible from anywhere.
An additional sensory layer is created by the integrated sound system and discreet heating solutions, which subtly enhance the overall sauna experience.
The sauna incorporates both integrated and movable comfort solutions. A built-in wooden water bowl allows convenient pouring directly onto the hidden heater. The experience is further complemented by mobile accessories – an ergonomic sauna headrest and a rope-supported footrest, allowing each user to adjust their relaxation position for maximum comfort.
The relaxation area is complemented by thoughtfully designed water features. Indoors, a hydromassage spa bath is installed, designed for relaxation and hydrotherapy, featuring massage jets with air suction functionality and air massage from below. Next to it is a swimming pool with an integrated recessed counter-current system, enabling active swimming even in a compact space. A water cascade adds an extra layer of comfort and sensory experience.
The pool cover is individually tailored – integrated according to the project’s architecture and adapted to its unique shapes, ensuring both aesthetic continuity and functionality. Outdoors, a cold plunge pool provides the opportunity for contrast therapy, completing the overall wellness ritual.
All pool systems are fully automated, and water treatment is handled using a chlorine-free system based on active oxygen.
