MONDEX KLAPI is a wood-burning sauna stove featuring a round perforated stainless-steel outer casing and a glass firebox door. Its stone compartment holds up to 70 kg of sauna stones, which store heat and release it gradually into the sauna room.
The sauna stones remain visible through the openings in the outer casing, while the open structure provides a larger heat-emitting surface. Actual sauna heating time and heat retention depend on the room volume, insulation, ventilation, chimney draught, firewood and stone arrangement.
The stove features a three-channel combustion structure that directs combustion gases inside the unit. The flue connection can be arranged from the top or side, depending on the installation configuration and the requirements stated in the manufacturer’s instructions.
The glass firebox door allows the flames and combustion process to be viewed. The stove must be selected according to the sauna volume specified by the manufacturer. Installation must comply with the required safety distances, chimney requirements and applicable fire-safety regulations.
