In theory, several extension elements can be installed. In such cases, the M8 threaded rods used to secure the portal must be replaced with rods of the appropriate length. For example, if two 100 mm extension elements are added, the threaded rods must be 200 mm longer.
Ease of use should also be considered, as firewood will need to be loaded through the extended tunnel and the ash pan will be positioned deeper inside. When additional extension elements are installed, their joints must also be properly sealed with a suitable sealant.
