Harvia Fenix FX180 is a universal control unit for electric sauna heaters, equipped with a 4.3-inch touchscreen control panel and built-in WiFi connectivity. Its clear user interface allows you to adjust the sauna temperature and control the connected lighting and fan from a single panel.
The control panel displays the sauna status and indicates when the set temperature has been reached. The Fenix system analyses the heating time of the sauna heater and calculates when heating should begin so that the sauna is ready at the selected time. Preset and user-defined sauna programmes can also be used.
The compact glass control panel can be installed inside the sauna, in a bathroom, changing room or another convenient location. The power unit must be installed in a dry location in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation requirements.
The included Fenix FX001XW control panel features built-in WiFi connectivity, so no additional WiFi control panel is required. The sauna status and connected functions can be monitored and managed using the MyHarvia 2 app or the Harvia.io web portal.
The free MyHarvia Core licence allows you to monitor the sauna remotely, receive heating-related notifications and view usage history. New Fenix products also include a complimentary 3-month trial of the MyHarvia Control licence. The Control licence enables full remote operation, including starting the sauna heater through the app.
After the trial period, the MyHarvia Control licence can be activated with a one-time in-app payment. The lifetime licence currently costs €99. It is linked to the control panel and can be shared with an unlimited number of invited users. No subscription or recurring fees apply. The licence price is set by the manufacturer and may change in the future.
The control unit features built-in fault diagnostics. A door sensor with a 3 m cable is included, while a separately available heater safety device can also be connected. It can be used as the safety device required for remote operation in a home sauna, provided that the heater does not have an integrated safety device. A heater safety device suitable for professional use is available separately. Remote heater operation must be installed and configured in accordance with the manufacturer’s safety requirements.
The FX180 is designed for electric sauna heaters with a power output of 9–29 kW. The maximum supported heater output depends on the supply voltage and selected electrical connection. The control unit supports single-phase, two-phase and three-phase connections. System capacity can be increased with an additional power unit when required.
