The GEFEST cast iron flue module with damper is a component of the flue system for wood-burning sauna stoves, designed to be installed directly above a compatible GEFEST stove as the initial section of the flue.
The module is made of cast iron. It consists of a 500 mm long cast iron starter pipe and an integrated cast iron flue damper. The damper allows the flue gas flow and chimney draught to be adjusted according to the operating conditions of the stove and the manufacturer's instructions.
The cast iron construction is designed for use in high-temperature environments, while the integrated damper allows the chimney draught to be adjusted without the need for a separate damper component.
The module is intended for compatible GEFEST wood-burning sauna stoves with a 150 mm flue connection diameter.
Installation and use
Before installation, check that the module is compatible with the specific stove model and flue system. Installation must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, fire safety requirements and specified safety distances from combustible materials.
The flue damper must be used in accordance with the stove manufacturer's instructions. During operation, adequate chimney draught and safe removal of combustion gases must be ensured.
