Harvia CP-R-SWL is a safety shut-off designed for compatible Harvia Concept R electric sauna heaters. It is installed in the heater’s upper frame structure and, under the specified operating conditions, switches the heater off when a sufficiently heavy object placed on the heater presses down on the upper frame. This solution provides an additional safety function for the heater, including systems that use remote start or preset start time functions.
According to the manufacturer, a Concept R heater equipped with a correctly installed CP-R-SWL safety shut-off passes the cover test specified in section 19.101 of EN 60335-2-53 and may be used with a compatible control unit featuring remote start or preset time functions.
Compatible Harvia Concept R heaters: HCR90E, HCR105E, HCR120E, HCR150E, HCR1004SM, HCR1354SM and HCR1604SM.
The set includes: a two-piece safety shut-off, one 3 m two-core silicone cable, two 1.5 m two-core silicone cables, and the required mounting components.
According to the manufacturer’s instructions, the cables are temperature resistant up to 150 °C.
